It's been a busy 6 months for Advisen Research: the subprime fiasco (we forecast $10 billion in '07-08 D&O and E&O loss); the AIG crisis (the subject of 9 of the top 10 most-read stories on Front Page News including our reporting of risk manager and broker sentiment); new laws for workers compensation and the election of President Obama; the deep recession (we analyzed the impact of the recession on the insurance market and are soon to publish insight into expected broker consolidation); and we reported on treaty reinsurance pricing and its impact on the direct insurance market.
