Healthcare reform was a hotly contested issue in the recent presidential campaign. Republican candidate Mitt Romney pledged to "repeal Obamacare" if elected, but with the reelection of President Obama, it is nearly certain that the roll out of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act will continue as scheduled.
Changes in how healthcare is delivered and paid for will have an impact on the liability exposures of healthcare organizations and providers.
